Eye Surgery

Yesterday I had surgery to fix my blocked tearducts. The surgery is called a dacryocystorhinostomy Basically two incisions are made on each side of the nose, a new hole is made to drain the tears, and something called a Jones tube is inserted for a couple of months. I have to admit that I really underestimated the surgery, The pain was pretty signifigant, but I made it past yesterday, and today the pain is much easier to manage....and tomorrow should be even better!

Oh my gosh!!! I guess I underestimated the surgery also. I had no idea that you would be in so much pain. I really do hope you are feeling better and are well on the road to recovery. You are in my prayers!

Love the pictures. Jay and I are coming to phoenix this fall to see a Cardinals game; we'll have to get together. We have a home in Maricopa (Just outside of Tucson)We were trying to sell it but we have decided to keep it and use as a winter home and rent it out when we are not using it. I know it's not that close to you but I still think we will be able to see more of you and your family when we come there. Anyway it's alot closer then Orem. FYI, Ashley is due around the same time as Kim.

I hope you start feeling better thats not a fun surgery. Taylor had it done and she had a hard time for a few day but she was young enough that she doesn't remember it. I sorry and get felling better soon.

this comment has nothing to do with your eye surgery, although it does look pretty wicked!! You and Kathy and your families could spend the night at the house we are holding the family reunion at. It is fully furnished and it is beautiful. There is plenty of room. I also have 3 guest rooms (2king beds and 2 twin beds), Ashley has 2 guest rooms (2 queen beds)and Jordan has one guest room (1 queen bed) You are more than welcome to stay at any of those places when you come for the reunion! Let's all go get massages the day before the reunion. It would be great fun!!!!
