Crosby...my dumpster diving dog!!

Well, today....my dog got into the garbage again! This is a new thing with him, it started about 2 weeks ago. Before that time, he was the perfect pooch. Now when ever I leave the house or even leave the room, he likes to lurk around the trash. it is so hard to get mad at him, because he looks at you like he has no clue! But then while cleaning up the mess he loses a little cuteness, with each sweep of the broom. I am posting a picture of him, rather than the messes he has been making. You can see why it is hard to get mad at him!

Happy Birthday!

Yesterday was my birthday, my 49th. I remember when I couldn't wait for my birthday to come, waking up, turning a year older, it was all so exciting...But yesterday was no big deal. I woke up, went to work, came home, walked my beloved dog Crosby, and my wonderful hubby cooked me a meal that consisted of no salt.... I am in the process of preparing for my possible RAI treatment, so my body has to be starved of iodine, so that when I do the scans and "IF" I have to undergo another radio active iodine treatment, it will zap those little remaining bits of cancer that have been so insistant in staying with me. I did however get to see all four of my beautiful daughters, who are planning a belated birthday bash for their Mom, it is a suprise, and I have no clue about what will take place, but no doubt it will be a blast! So light the candles, I will have my cake when I can eat it too!

Ta Dah

I don't really know what to say except, here it is....my blog! I have read other people's blogs and thought.."what a neat way to share life's experiences". I am creating this blog so that I too can share my experiences, thoughts and photos with those who are dearest to me....my family. Because my daughter Katie has a blog, I will try and pick things to talk about that she hasn't touched on. I think today, I will share a little bit about my better half....Larry! We will have been married for 9 years in June, and I have loved every minute of every day that we have spent together. This past October Larry had bilateral knee surgery, which means that he now has two brand new bionic knees, and he has done so well with them! It was one of the hardest things to watch him go through, but I am so proud of him. In addition to the surgery, he moved his business from Colorado to Arizona. I don't get to see as much of him as I would like to, but thankfully, he is just down the street. I would like to invite all of you to view my blog, hopefully, it won't bore you too bad!!
