So, I am too lame! I keep saying that I need to start posting regularly on my blog....the last time was when Quincy was born, He is now 13 months old! On September 29th we added another beautiful boy to our family. This makes 5 grandkids, all boys! He is a sweetie, he smiles and coos and we just adore him. Welcome to our Family Nixxon. Once again we have been blessed!

In late November we added another addition to our family with the birth of Quincy Stockham Johnson.He is the sweetest baby, and has the best temperament! It is fair to say that we waited way to long for this little guy, the he was surely worth the wait! I will post a few pictures of him below.

HELLO AGAIN.....IT'S ME!!!

Hello Again!! It has been almost two years since I have made a blog entry. I am going to try and catch you up to what has been going on in our lives. I think the last post I made was to do with Gunner. Thought I would just post a few more current picture of him. He has blessed our lives immensely! He is starting to talk, he knows his numbers up to 13, and wants to be just like his big brother Madden.

Gunner Nash

It's been a really long time since I have made a post to my blog....Life has been busy for this grammy... Today I am posting about the sweet little baby who came to join our family.. Gunner Nash was born on July 12 2012. Early in Abbey's pregnancy, we learned that Gunner would be born without his left hand. We were all so excited to meet him because we knew God was sending us a special guy with an amazing spirit, who would have to endure challenges, but that would also inspire all of us. I am so looking forward to watching him grow and learn and figure things out. I feel so blessed, that Gunner is ours.

When mommy went to New York....

Abbey went to New York last week. She worked her butt off and won the trip courtesy of Victoria's Secret...she even got to see the famous Victoria's Secret fashion show. We were all very jealous of course, but were so happy for her, so we wished her well. While she was gone I got to take care of Madden and even had him overnight one night. Below are some pictures I took while I had him. He was such a great baby and slept all night!!

Madden's first sleepover!

Last Saturday, Madden spent the night. It was his first sleepover at my house. I just have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed him. He is such a sweet tempered little guy, and so easy going. He recently started walking, and though he does it quite well, he still prefers crawing . I took a video of him walking, and it is the cutest thing!! It makes me smile every time I watch it.

ONE!!

Just a few weeks ago this little guy turned one. It is hard to imagine life without this sweet little boy. It is also unbelievable to me that a whole year has passed since we were first introduced. Madden has blessed our lives so much, and brings giggles and smiles to everyone he comes in contact with. He is the happiest baby I've seen. Thanks for bringing so much joy to us Madden...we LOVE you!

It has been along time since we have seen Danielle, but we were able to spend a couple of days with her. I think we need to make an effort to see her more often, because we really do miss her.
She looked awesome and we had alot of fun just hanging with. Thanks for the visit Danielle!!

Swimmimg with Marques

SLEEPOVER

Marques had his first sleepover at my house. We spent the day together, and ate at Firehouse Subs (notice the fire hat), them we bought a windmill and some stickers at the store. When we came home he decorated some papers (and Crosby) with the stickers he picked out at the store. We had Little Ceasers Pizza for dinner, as that is the only kind he likes. Then we put his p j's on and watched Imagination Movers. He slept all night and in the morning we had smoothies. It was a FUN time!

Who's getting old???

I have complained time after time about how aging sucks, not just what it does to your body,but the wrinkles, the saggy neck. It just isn't fair!! But it seems that I am not the only one who is showing signs of age. I was looking through some old pictures of when we got Crosby, and I was schocked when I compared the pictures to what he now looks like. Welcome to the Club Crosby....It happens to us all!! The first two pictures are what our man looks like now, and the bottom three are better days.

Because of some glitch I haven't been able to post on my Blog, and I realized that I haven't really posted rcent pictures of Madden. He will soon be 9 minths. He's getting teeth, he scootching across the floor and he generally just makes us melt with his smiles. Time is going by way too fast!!

MADDEN

Katie's first triathalon

As some of you may know, Larry has been doing triathalons for a couple of years now..along with his two sons and daughter in law. Katie has decided to join the ranks and will be doing her first IRONMAN race in Novemeber. In March she did her first thriathalon race. Katie I AM SO PROUD OF YOU. YOU GO GIRL! Here are a few pictures of her at the finish!!

SWIMMING!

Madden and Marques are enrolled in swim lesson together. Today I went and watched as learn to swim. Madden has been doing lessons for over a month, but Marques' first lesson was today. I was able to get some cute pictures. I think the best part was after lessons were over, and I was able to snuggle with both of them in a dry towel.

You made me a grammy!

Today this boy turns 2. I cannot believe how fast the time goes by, and how much joy this little one has brought to our family. It seem like just yesterday we held his tiny little body suggly in our arms after making his debut. What did we ever do without him? He is so much a part of us now. I'm sure this birthday won't be a big deal to him, but I want him to know how much I love his little smile, his hilarious expressions, his silly songs, his jibberish, his little phrases, and yes even his tantrums. I love you Marques!!! You belong to our family, and we are thrilled you're ours! Thanks for making me a grandma!
