Our Western Caribbean Cruise

I know you have all seen these pictures before, but we had so much fun on our cruise last year, so we decided to book another one. On June 8th, we will set sail and spend 7 days in the amazing Eastern Caribbean. We are looking forward to soaking up some sun in San Jaun, St. Thomas, St. Marteen, and the Bahamas. Also, I wanted to let everyone know what a dork I am..............I deleted my old blog. Oh well, maybe this one will be better!

PET SCAN CLEAN!

YAY!!! I got the results of my pet scan yesterday and they came back negative. The doctor was concerned because my Tg blood work was high, and my whole body scan was positive positive. Sooooo, the doctor thinks we are dealing with cancer that is microscopic. I will stay on high doses on Synthroid, and hopefully it will take care of what is left. It was great news, and I am just really glad that I don't have to do Radioactive iodine. I am very blessed.

Mustard algae....YUCK!

Today, to my dismay, Larry discovered that we have algae in our pool. YUCK! So I got the scope and started brushing the inside walls trying to get rid of it. While I am outside doing this Crosby is with me. If I walk to one side of the pool, there he is, if I turn around and go the other way, he is right there behind me. I have almost fallen over him several times, still there he is. Anyway, as I am brushing the sides of the pool, which is where most of the algae seems to be...I am thinking there has to be an easier way to get rid of this nasty yellow stuff! I went inside and got on the internet and found a product that will help with the algae. So I went to the Paddock Pool store and got an algaecide...on the back of the bottle it reads, "brush and vacuum pool surfaces thoroughly before using". Hmmmm that is what I was trying to get out of doing.
